261 release. So 4.44 and 4.50 are in effect two different branches that both start

2447 the parent. However, if the lookup was caching a connection to a database,
2448 the connection was closed, and the second delivery process was likely to
2449 see errors such as "PGSQL: query failed: server closed the connection
2450 unexpectedly". The problem has been fixed by closing all cached lookups
2451 in a queue runner before running a delivery process.

2820 ChangeLog 4.05/30). If necessary, Exim opens /dev/null to use for these

2822 causing mysterious errors if for some reason the permissions on /dev/null
2823 got screwed. Now Exim writes a message to the main and panic logs, and
