466 in the light of a couple of (minor) security issues. Therefore, the changes
467 that fixed bugs were backported into 4.43, to create a 4.44 maintenance
468 release. So 4.44 and 4.50 are in effect two different branches that both start
469 from 4.43.

471 I have left the 4.50 change log unchanged; it contains all the changes since
472 4.43. The change log for 4.44 is below; many of its items are identical to
473 those for 4.50. This seems to be the most sensible way to preserve the

2010 to check that the total number of inodes is greater than zero before doing

2013 58. When a "warn" ACL statement has a log_message modifier, the message is

2902 change of case by a resolver as a change of domain, similar to a widening
2903 of a domain abbreviation. This triggered its re-routing code and so it was
2904 trying to route what was effectively the same domain again. This normally
2905 caused routing to fail (because the router wouldn't handle the domain
2906 twice). Now Exim checks for this case specially, and just changes the
2907 casing of the domain that it ultimately uses when it transmits the message
2908 envelope.
