547 from the read() function. If the client had disconnected by this time,
548 the result was a log entry for a synchronization error with an empty

550 (an event I could not check), uninitialized data bytes were printed.

2216 buffer was used for the list of hosts. I made this 1024 bytes long,
2217 thinking that nobody would ever have a list of hosts that long. Wrong.
2218 Somebody had a whole pile of complicated expansion conditions, and the
2219 string was silently truncated, leading to an expansion error. It turns out
2220 that it is easier to change to an unlimited length (owing to other changes
2221 that have happened since this code was originally written) than to build

2223 expands into the list of hosts is now unlimited.

2921 unexpectedly". The problem has been fixed by closing all cached lookups
2922 in a queue runner before running a delivery process.

3293 causing mysterious errors if for some reason the permissions on /dev/null
